Please note our food vendors typically close approximately 2 hours before the venue closes. As each vendor operates independently, their individual closing times may vary depending on how busy the venue is on the day. If you're planning to eat during your visit, we recommend ordering in good time to avoid missing out.

Yes, Freight Island is accessible for the most part. The Courtyard, Plant Room, and Avenue are all step-free and wheelchair-friendly, and we have a disabled toilet available. The Platform area can be accessed via a lift. However, please note that the Mezz is not wheelchair accessible, as it can only be reached by stairs. If you have any specific accessibility needs, feel free to contact us in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Our nearest train station is Piccadilly Station and we’re a short 2-minute walk away.

Enter into your Sat Nav M1 2PY - 11 Baring Street Manchester. The quickest route will then be selected.

Parking

There are 3 car parks close by that are £3 for 12 hours, these are located on Baring Street and Buxton Street.

Freight Island is a cashless venue, accepting only card and contactless payments for a smoother and more secure transaction experience. Please ensure you bring a suitable payment method to enjoy all our offerings without any hassle.

Children are welcome at Freight Island and, during our normal trading days, are permitted in the venue until 9:00pm when accompanied by a responsible adult. However, this policy does not apply to our ticketed events. Each event has its own entry requirements and age restrictions, which may differ from our general venue policy. As many of our ticketed events are 18+, we always recommend checking the event listing and Terms & Conditions before purchasing tickets to confirm the applicable age restrictions for that specific event. If you're ever unsure, please get in touch with our team before booking and we'll be happy to help.

We also welcome friendly dogs across the whole site, inside and out. Dogs should be kept on a leash and supervised at all times.

We offer multiple bespoke packages to hire the venue - if you’re interested in hiring the venue please e-mail privateevents@freightisland.com. Please include the date, time, and size of your party; as well as any other specific requirements.

At Freight Island, we operate a Challenge 25 policy, so please be prepared to show a valid ID if you look under 25 to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

We operate a strict zero tolerance policy for any physical or verbal abuse towards our Staff Members. Anyone highlighted as breaching this policy will be removed from the venue.
